I would have told my 16 year old self that *** does not make you cool or sophisticated, neither do drugs, you will need Algebra, bad boys are not worth the heartache, and big hair is going to be such a fashion faux pas.
Julie, I don’t have a lot of spare time, just can’t sleep because I had coffee too late in the afternoon trying to keep up with my kids. It’s good your are evaluating your life at a young age.

This may sound mean but I am really at wits end. I have custody of my son from a previous marriage. His dad is a complete loser. Ever since he was 6 wks old, my mom has babysat him. He is now nine, she still watches him, in fact he stays with her most of the week for school and conveniences do to that. I’m now remarried and he is no longer the only child which really bothers him. He’s also ADHD. He is extremely close to my mom and when he is home with me, he’ll go to the neighbors house and make up stories of abuse, so that he can get his own way and go back to my moms. He has called the police twice now and told them lies. If this continues….I fear that my baby girls will be taken from me because he is a convincing liar.
I have been giving serious thought to just washing my hands of him completely and giving him up to my mother. Any thoughts? Does anybody know how to give up parental rights? Advice please. I’m emotionally drained from all this.

well i have never truly gotten along with my parents ever. we fight over everything bc we have different views on everything. for example i am atheist and have no religion and my parents look down on that. also i believe that i should make my own mistakes and live my own life and again my parents don’t like that. recently, my parents found alcohol in my room that i had bought and we fought over that. we also have fought over university, school, work…the list just goes on. On wednesday i turn eighteen and i feel as if i shouldn’t be restricted to live my own life. now this is a huge argument.
our latest argument is bc my best friend planned a surprise party for me and things got outta hand so she told me some vague details. so i told my mom whats going on and she FREAKED bc my bff didnt call her! does anyone have tips to get me and my parents on a okay level?

p.s. me and dad dont talk at all. and we all live in the same house.

Orthodontist wil deze getrokken tanden wegens het belangrijke overbevolken, heeft hij een kleine mond en sommige zeer machotanden. In elk geval. .lol, mijn vraag issss. .when wij huis, om het even welke ouderlijke raad op wat hem gevoel beter zal maken, welk voedsel om ertoe brengen te eten, wat zullen niet kwetst etc.? Dank.
Laat me gelieve toe te voegen dat " dwaze gas" , kost $200. Ik heb 3 jonge geitjes en ik ben niet rijk. Te vertrouwen gelieve op me wie ik niet aan koos tussen geld of mijn zonenpijn probeer. Ik moet reeds bijna $200 voor hem betalen om de getrokken tanden te hebben. Te beuken zo gelieve me niet voor het krijgen van hem niet " dwaze gas".

I wanted to post this question here because I want parental advice. I can’t confide in my own parents because they’d be upset&i’m too embaressed anyway…plus my family LOVES my bf& I don’t want them to resent him. It would cause tension. The problem is my bf.

I’ll admit that my boyfriend isn’t perfect. When he gets angry at me he is insulting, he says the meanest things to make me cry (weight and looks), he deliberately ignores my attempts to contact him…sometimes he does this for a few days, sometimes a week,& he will give me the silent treatment, which anyone that has ever been there knows, is not fun at all. However, he has never laid one finger on me in anger, and he is not always this way, it only happens when we have periods of stress&conflict. What can I do to help him stop this behavior toward me&deal with stress better? I don’t think it is right to leave someone just because they have character flaws. Plus we love each other a lot and he ALWAYS apologizes. Help?
Please don’t think he is a jerk because he is not. He isn’t like this all of the time…and plus I am not perfect either.
